Description of Hotel la Voltige, Vannes - Locqueltas
This simple but charming country hotel is alongside the D778, 8k north of medieval Vannes. Family-run, it prides itself on its cuisine and you can enjoy delicious seafood specialities and local produce served in the pretty gardens, on the terrace or in the dining room, according to season. Bedrooms are simple but pleasant and a buffet breakfast is served each morning in the breakfast room cum bar. Lovely beaches and the Gulf of Morbihan are just a short drive and there is a choice of boat trips to tour the gulf or visit some of the islands.

La Voltige is a small patron-run establishment, with around 20 rooms. It's comfortable, well-appointed and clean. The service is pleasant and hospitable. The food is good French cooking, interesting, well flavoured and presented and excellent value for money. Mr & Mrs Bennetts, June 2012
Very simple accommodation, clean but no frills. Beware, the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday evenings, and there is nowhere close by to eat! Its picnic time! Mr & Mrs Groves, July 2012
