Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Attractive, sgle storey cottage with raised grd floor accommodation (accessed via exterior stairs), next to empty farm buildings on friendly owner's beautiful estate (cattle breeding). Small, simple kitchen (m/wave). Living room with woodburning stove (wood provided). Dble bedrm. Shower/wc. W/machine. Heating. Private patio with garden furniture and bbq.Table tennis (shared with owner). Car shelter. Utility charge: metered. The Pool: 10m x 5m and 2.2m deep (shared with owner). Fenced & open 25th May to 15th September.
Good area for cycling, with free use of 2 mountain bikes. Chickens, deer, owls & more have been seen in the grounds. In the heart of the vineyards of the Côte Chalonnaise, Givry (10k) is a delightful small town which holds a Thursday market and you can also buy the local wine direct from the producers.

We would recommend a trip across the Saône to the Bresse region, a delightfully picturesque and unspoilt area. The Monday morning market at Louhans, Dole in the Franche Comté has picturesque canalside walks, the Clos de Vougeot wine museum is interesting and good value.
