Customer Reviews

Highlights: glow worms in the garden and assorted wildlife both here and on our trips out and night-time stars are beautiful. We have had a lovely fortnight. Lazy days enjoying the heat & sunshine, gentle trips out to sleepy places through pretty countryside. Jen & Clive, August 11
The nearby boulanger at Ch. De Dognons was very convenient as was the bread van that calls Sunday mornings and alternate week-days at 8am. Listen for the sound of the tone. The museum at Aubusson is well worth a visit for its display of traditional and contemporary tapestries. Dave & Bridget Bowen, Dorset, September 2010
Day trip by train to Limoges only 4.50 euro, nice trip and quick. Local porcelain factory has 'seconds' at the rear of the shop - sold by the kilo. Lovely local swimming pool at St Noblat (watch for opening times). Good pizzas in the centre and the first bar opposite the bull does a very good value set meal from 12.00. Paul & Margaret Jackson, May 2010
The welcome was fantastic! Jam, cider & chocolate cakes hit the spot! The gite is wonderful and the area just what was required for our medication. Lots of pluses, garage, garden, cat cute and very friendly, chickens very amusing, the basketball hoop kept us amused for hours, literally Tim, Marilyn, Kath & Rob, June 2009
I have had a brilliant time here, it has been really fun, from playing basketball to having wonderful bbqs. I've loved seeing the people who live in the village and practising my French when the bread man came. Also I love the house, it is a beautiful house and you can always find something to do. Suzannah Hosier (aged 9), July 2009
