Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Superb gite adjoining owners' barn in large enclosed grounds. Peaceful, fairly isolated setting, 300m from stream (fishing). Owners live close by. Large, comfortable & bright living room with woodburner, tv, French window to garden & lovely fitted kitchen (m/wave, d/washer). Small laundry room (w/machine). Shower/wc. 1st floor has beautiful bathroom (corner bath), wc & 4 pretty bedrms - 2 dbles (1 with king size bed), 1 sgle and 1 twin. Cot < 3yrs, high chair. Underfloor heating. Lawn, garden furniture, bbq, basketball net & swings. Cleaning charge is compulsory. Utility charge: metered. The Pool: 10.4m x 4.8m, 1.1m to 1.4m deep. Alarmed, heated and shared with owners. Open mid May to end Sept.
Owners can organise tasting & purchasing of the local Vouvray wine. Descartes (1.5k) has many amenities (bar, restaurant, shops) and holds a market on Thurs & Sun.
