Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Beautiful, very well renovated gite adjoining hospitable owners' house & near 2 chambres d'hôtes on a beautiful fortified farm dating back to the 12th century. Pleasant, relaxing setting in heart of countryside. Tastefully furnished & decorated interior. Comfortable sitting/dining room with exposed stone walls, tv, huge stone fireplace, 2 sofas and fitted kitchen area (f/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, m/wave, d/washer). 3 steps down to dble bedrm with ensuite shower/wc (w/machine,t/dryer). Superb stone staircase (uneven) leads to bathroom, separate wc and 2 further bedrms - 1 dble and 1 with a sgle and bunk beds (desk & chair). Cot < 3yrs, high chair, stairgate. Geothernal central heating (6 to 14 euros/day). Large garden (great countryside views) with lawn, furniture, bbq. Front, gravelled courtyard (parking). Utility charge: metered.
This is ideally placed for visiting the châteaux of Azay le Rideau, Ussé and Villandry (all within 50k). Visit the cellars at Chinon for some wine tasting. The amazing theme park Futuroscope is just 35k from here and provides a great family day out.

Madame thank you (merci!) for a wonderful vacances here at Le Luc. What a beautiful place, serene and calm, watching the deer, foxes and other wildlife. Had lovely trips out to Azay le Rideau and lots of other attractions, but best of all to come back and soak up the sun in the evening and survey the view.
