Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

Spacious detached 18thC longhouse in front of owners' dairy farm, in hamlet surrounded by fields. Property has been entirely renovated to a high standard and is tastefully decorated and furnished with antiques. Open plan kitchen/dining room with decorative old bread oven, f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer. Lounge with fireplace (free wood), tv, dvd & hi-fi leading to 2 interconnecting dble bedrms (1 with king size bed). Shower room (w/machine & t/dryer). Wc. Open tread stairs from lounge to 1st floor with 2 pull-out sgle beds on landing, shower room, 2nd wc & 3 comfortable, attic dble bedrms (2 with washbasin). Linen provided & beds made up prior to arrival. Travel cot < 3yrs, high chair, baby bath. Towel hire 5 euros per person. Electric heating (included). Car port. Large enclosed grounds with gravel courtyard. Lawn area & covered terrace near the pool with built-in bbq. Garden furniture & table tennis. Panoramic views of countryside. Utility charge: included. Private Pool: 8m x 4m and 1.2m - 1.7m deep. 50m from the gite, it is heated, has safety cover and is open from May to September for exclusive use of guests at this property.

Places to visit include the university city of Tours (30k), medieval Loches (23k) and some of the beautiful Loire châteaux such as Azay le Rideau (37k), Villandry (39k) or Amboise (50k).
