Description of Luccotel, Loches
The walled citadel at Loches on the river Indre is by far the most splendid of the Loire Valley fortresses. And if you've a keen sense of history and a stout pair of walking shoes, you'll find plenty to absorb you in this medieval town. Overlooking it and less than 1k from town, is the Luccotel - an outstanding base for your travels. Very good value for money, this 2 star hotel is more worthy of 3 stars and has a lovely indoor pool which looks out over the grounds, a renowned Logis de France featured restaurant and a leisure facilities including a tennis court, table tennis and billiards.
