Description of Golf d'Orléans Donnery, Donnery
East of Orléans, this course, which was founded in 1952 by American GIs, is in a marvellous oak wood near Donnery's Château de la Touche. It offers large fairways with lots of trees and technical holes protected by bunkers and water, and is well known to be one of the most interesting courses in the region.
There is a £12 supplement to play on Sat/Sun & French Bank Holidays.
Our opinion: Another excellent course in this part of the Loire - must be played! Favourite Hole: 5th.
