Description of Hotel Escale Oceania, Orléans
The location and private parking make this hotel an ideal choice for either a short stopover or longer stay. Alongside the river Loire and a pleasant 15 minute stroll into the centre of Orléans, the Escale Oceania is easy to find and has welcoming friendly staff who will do their utmost to make your stay an enjoyable one. Breakfast is served in the bright conservatory, simply furnished but comfortable bedrooms are spread over 2 floors and all have air conditioning and either king size or large single beds and there is also a pleasant bar lounge. Orléans, whose name is forever associated with Joan of Arc and the Hundred Years War, is a busy market and industrial town standing at the most northerly point of the river Loire. Although badly damaged during WWII, it has been carefully restored so as not to detract from its historical areas and is a good base from which to explore the châteaux of the Loire.

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.
