Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

Spacious, comfortable gite in outbuilding of beautiful 18thC castle near owner's farm shop on sheep farm (eggs, foie gras & local specialities may be purchased). Split level interior has some lovely original features, exposed beams and antique furniture. Cosy lounge (formerly a chapel) with fireplace, tv & hi-fi, leading to dining room. 2 steps up to spacious kitchen (f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer) which leads to laundry room (w/machine, t/dryer). Twin bedrm (beds placed together) with 2 steps down to bath/shower. Wc. King size dble bedrm (en suite shower/wc). Sitting area (sofa bed) with steep, narrow ladder stairs to twin bedrm on mezzanine. Separate staircase to 2 interconnecting 1st floor attic bedrms - 1 sgle & 1 king size dble (en suite bath/shower without door). Beds made up prior to arrival. Gas fired c/heating (included). Private parking. Garden with furniture, bbq, table tennis and large terrace with open views of fields with sheep. Utility charge: included.

Golfers will love it here, being just 500m from the Golf de Touraine, while non-golfers have a great choice of towns, châteaux, wine centres & other attractions to visit in the heart of the Loire valley.
