Customer Reviews
This has been our first visit to Normandy and we wish we had booked for 2 weeks. One week is nowhere near enough to see and do a fraction of what is on offer The view from the front garden is to die for and a pleasant way to spend an evening watching the sun cast a pink hue over the scenery. In summary, a great place to spend a holiday and well worth repeating. The Haslams, August 2011
A lovely gite in a great position! The Parkinson Family, August 2011
We gave been very happy to spend a week here. Your gite has all the conveniences in a marvellous rural location. We have particularly valued the peace and quiet and the animal life. The WWII relics are interesting. Our first visit to Normandy was in 1985 and now in 2011. Normandy is still a home from home friendly welcoming and full of surprises. The Parkinson Family, August 2011
Beautiful gite in a tranquil spot. Very cosy with the log fire burning on a chilly evening. Centrally situated, Bonnemaison is ideal for touring central Normandy. The view from the gite as the sun is rising is stunning. A very pleasant half-term holiday week - our 1st visit to France. The Campbell Family, October 2010
We've spent a lovely week here. The circular walk around the valley is a good way to see the countryside around the gite. We've also been feeding the horses in the field across the road with the odd apples, so they should be friendly. The Harris Family, August 2010
We have had a fantastic holiday. The gite was a wonderful base for our Normandy adventure. Wonderful weather, and a beautiful view made our evenings at the gite an excellent end to the day, spent out & about in the Normandy countryside. The Bayeux tapestry was brilliant, William the Conqueror castle at Falaise was very interesting, & the miniature railway at Clécy is a must for any family with small kids. If you have the energy, the velorail at Pont-Erambourg is a really fun way to spend an afternoon. Happy holidays, and a big 'thank tou' to Mr & Mrs Lebourgeois for a lovely gite. The Rowsells and Heaths, July/Aug 2009
