Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Tastefully renovated property adjoining owners' storage room (rarely used) in quiet hamlet next to owners' house & another gite. The fashionable resort of Deauville with its many attractions is just a short drive away (11k). Compact but comfortable sitting/dining room with coal-effect fireplace, tv, dvd and kitchen area (f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer, w/machine). Dble bedrm (suitable for the disabled) with en suite wet room/wc. Steep stairs lead to bath/shower/wc and 2 further bedrms - dble & twin. Duvets. Travel cot, high chair, stairgate. Oil c/heating. Private front garden with patio (furniture, bbq) bordered by field (horse stables, training racecourse) on one side and a fenced pond on the other. Large rear grounds (table tennis) shared with owners & 2nd gite. Utility charge: Nov-March 55 euros/wk, April-June & Sept-Oct 40euros/wk.
A Sunday market is held in Villers sur Mer (6k) and there is a lovely sandy beach at Houlgate (7k).
