Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Attractively furnished detached house with light, spacious rooms, just a few hundred metres from beach, shops, restaurants and bars. In a quiet area amongst some other houses, overlooking an orchard where a horse is kept in the summer. Living room with fitted kitchen (f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer, w/machine, t/dryer), dining area and small sitting area with flat screen tv & sliding glass doors to patio. Dble bedrm (1 step up) with en suite walk-in shower. Wc. 1st floor has bathroom, 2nd wc and 3 further bedrms - 2 dbles (1 with small en suite shower) & 1 twin. Travel cot, high chair. Gas fired c/heating. Lovely south-facing patio (garden furniture, bbq), lawn area and vegetable garden. Utility charge: metered.
As well as the sandy beach nearby there are others at Cabourg (4k) or the famous resorts of Deauville and Trouville 15k along the coast. Houlgate has a covered market 3 days a week or daily in school holidays.

This gite gave you the feel of being in the country with the advantage of being within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and beach. Our young grandchildren loved watching the horses in the adjoining field but you do need to keep an eye on them at all times as the garden is not secure. The Dunfords, April 2013
