Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Charming little detached gite at entrance of well-kept parkland bordering fairly busy road (D52). Easy access to lots of sandy beaches. English speaking owners live nearby & run 2 Chambres d'Hôtes in their 17thC residence. Living room with stone walls, fireplace, tv, 2 armchairs, dining table, kitchen corner. Shower/wc (w/machine). Open, twisting wooden staircase to 1st floor with dble & twin bedrm. C/heating. Enclosed shared garden with furniture & bbq. Utility charge: metered.
Coutances boasts one of the most beautiful cathedrals in France. It is also an easy drive to Villedieu les Poêles (famed for its copperware) or Mont St Michel.

Our first time staying in a gite and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing way of life. Visited 4 beaches of which without doubt Agon-Coutainville was our favourite, plenty of things going on, on the beach and lovely restaurants. Had a lovely stay, enhanced by a dry, hot sunny week and a charming gite for accommodation.Everyone we have met has been most friendly and hospitable. We have spent a relaxing week, and yet managed to visit many places in the area. The weather has not been good all the time but we have had a good rest and have seen many beautiful and interesting places during our stay.
