Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Well situated spacious detached gite in wooded setting, a short drive from the beach and within walking/cycling distance of village shops & amenities.Well equipped fitted kitchen/breakfast room (f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer). Pleasant lounge/dining room with fireplace and tv. Dble bedrm. Shower room. Wc. 1st floor has bath/shower/wc and 3 further bedrms - 2 dbles, 1 twin & nursery with travel cot (there is also high chair, baby bath, changing unit, stairgate). Towel hire 5 euros per person. Oil fired c/heating (70 euros/wk). Free use of various bicycles (1 racing, 1 mountain, 2 ladies', 2 children's, plus child seat). Adjoining barn/utility room with w/machine, games and space for children to play. Large gravelled front courtyard with flower beds, garden furniture & bbq. Fenced stream 100m. Utility charge: metered.
Coutances has a very impressive cathedral and a Thursday market. This is a lovely area with a good choice of day trips including the walled town and seaside resort of Granville, Mont St Michel, the D-Day beaches and Bayeux.
