Spacious, detached sgle storey gite in peaceful hamlet, surrounded by fields (cows). Accommodation is suitable for the disabled. Attractive living/dining room with beams, inset fireplace, leather suite, tv, large dining table & chairs. Fitted kitchen/breakfast room with f/freezer, m/wave and d/washer. Bathroom. Wc (w/machine, t/dryer). Shower room (handrails). 2nd wc. 5 pretty bedrms, each with different decor - 3 dbles and 2 twins (1 has a tv). Towel hire 7 euros per person. Cot < 3yrs, high chair, baby bath, bottle warmer. Electric heating. Enclosed courtyard. Large enclosed garden with lawn, furniture, bbq & swing. 5 sunloungers. Utility charge: metered.

Lieurey (3k) has a restaurant & holds a market on Thursday & Saturday.

A very friendly welcome from Mme Benoist & a delicious tart & cider; thank you! We are a family of one adult & 3 children and a family of one adult 2 children (2 to 13 yrs). We recommend Festyland. Basilica in Lisieux is well worth the climb for the views. Cormeilles was great we recommend restaurant/crêperie there for fussy children. Lovely welcome despite our late arrival, thank you. A fabulous gite (one of the best we have stayed in) & plenty to do for 6 children (8/13 yrs) within easy driving distance. Great beach & swimming at Villiers sur Mer, Honfleur beautiful & interesting town. Festyland was great for kids of all ages. Zoo (zoological Cerza) really good entertainment for hours & not too far away! Enjoyed BBQs most evenings and evening walks (very peaceful). We have had a wonderful holiday here and the gite provided us with all the space a large family group needs. The cattle are excellent neighbours! It has been an excellent holiday visiting local places + Paris - enjoying picnics & sun. Lovely gite to stay in. Ruth M. Mills, August 2008

We have had a fabulous week at the gite and have found it very warm and welcoming. We loved looking out onto the fields and seeing the cows pulling the branches down to get to the apples. We visited Bayeux and thoroughly recommend seeing the Tapestry. We also visited Chateau Vendeuvre (by St Pierre sur Dives). The miniature collection was impressive but the grounds are not wheelchair friendly. Pont Audemer which is a very short distance from the gite is a little gem for shopping and café lifestyle.
