Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Pleasantly renovated, detached gite in ideal, seaside setting just 60m from a sandy beach (small, quiet road to cross). Light comfortable sitting/dining room with French window (to enclosed shaded rear garden), tv, dvd and fitted kitchen area (f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer, French window to front enc losed courtyard). Utility room (w/machine). Bathroom. Wc. 1st floor has 2nd wc and 3 attic bedrms - a dble (tv/video) and 2 twins. Travel cot, high chair, stairgate, baby bath. Garden furniture, bbq. Shed housing 2nd fridge and children's games. Utility charge: Nov-March 55 euros/wk, April-June & Sept-Oct 40 euros/wk, July-August 20 euros/wk.
Luc sur Mer is a friendly and lively resort in summer. Its claim to fame is the skeleton of a 40 ton whale that was beached there in 1885 and now displayed in the town's park.

Very friendly and helpful owners who kindly left us a bottle of cider and some fresh bread when we arrived. The gite is in a quiet street but is only a 2 minute walk from the beach and about 5 minutes from the shops. It is very well equipped with nice outdoor areas to front and rear that are secure and ideal if you have small kids. We enjoyed very good meals at the nearby Brasserie and Hotel de la Mer.
