Description of Hotel Riva Bella, Ouistreham
Right on the huge sandy Sword beach of D-Day fame and a half hour walk from the terminal, this pleasant hotel has a terrace and lounge with huge picture windows facing the sea. In the restaurant - also with lovely sea views - the chef offers traditional dishes or a separate healthy eating menu for those counting the calories! Adjoining the hotel is a thalassotherapy centre, offering a range of treatments (extra charge), an indoor pool with aquatonic maze, jets, currents and bubbling water, a sauna, Turkish bath and fitness room (free use for hotel guests).
