Description of Hotel Riva Bella, Ouistreham
Right on the huge sandy Sword beach of D-Day fame and a half hour walk from the terminal, this pleasant hotel has a terrace and lounge with huge picture windows facing the sea. In the restaurant - also with lovely sea views - the chef offers traditional dishes or a separate healthy eating menu for those counting the calories! Adjoining the hotel is a thalassotherapy centre, offering a range of treatments (extra charge), an indoor pool with aquatonic maze, jets, currents and bubbling water, a sauna, Turkish bath and fitness room (free use for hotel guests).

Prices in black are per person based on two sharing. They include B&B and return ferry crossings on selected sailings to France, for a standard car and occupants.

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.

This modern hotel has every comfort along with its excellent restaurant and imaginative menus. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the ambience of the hotel makes for a very satisfactory stay. The hotel itself is ideally located just minutes from the ferry terminal. There is easy access to the small but delightful town of Ouistreham and, moreover, the hotel makes for a good base to tour Normandy. Mr & Mrs Bobbitt, May 2013
