Description of La Mare O Poissons, Ouistreham
This charming hotel is set back from the road approximately 1k from the terminal as you drive out of Ouistreham towards Caen. The accommodation is soundproofed and bedrooms all have a shower as opposed to a bath. Reception opens out into a comfortable lounge area with tv and the breakfast room is separate to the restaurant, which specialises in fish dishes. Free Wi-Fi is also available. Ouistreham is so much more than just a ferry port and is a charming little seaside resort within its own right boasting a small pedestrian centre lined with shops, bars and restaurants, a lovely sandy beach, casino and a thalassotherapy centre at the Riva Bella hotel on the seafront.
