Description of Accommodation

A visit to Grandcamp Maisy would be incomplete without a visit to the fish market held almost daily on the quayside, or sit at a harbourside restaurant to try some of the freshly caught seafood. Take a trip to the D-Day Landing beaches (6k), the American cemetery (4k) or the Bayeux Tapestry (30k) and you can also discover some of Normandy's famous (and calorific) gastronomy - camembert, cider, calvados, and from nearby Isigny, crème fraiche and caramels.

The recently built Résidence les Isles de Sola has around 100 spacious apartments in several 4 storey buildings (no lifts) grouped around a heated outdoor pool (13m x 6m, open May to Sept). Well situated, only 50 metres from the busy little fishing port and close to the beach and sailing school. Other facilities here include sauna and steam room (for over 18s and charge payable), breakfast (8 euros, or 6 euros for under 12s), Wi-Fi in apartments around 25 euros per week (or free at reception). Free outdoor car park. Some wheelchair accessible ground floor apartments with terrace are available on request.

Max: 4 - Apartment on 1st or 2nd floor. Living room has tv, double sofa bed and kitchen area with microwave and 2 ring hob. Bedroom with king size bed. Shower room/wc. Balcony with garden furniture.

Max: 4/6 - As Max 4 above except there is a 2nd bedroom - a triple with bunks and a single bed.

End of stay cleaning - 45 - 55 euros (excluding kitchen area).
