Description of Hotel la Granitière, St Vaast la Hougue
This delightful little hotel is in the centre of a small fishing port, surrounded by the lush Normandy countryside. The local oysters are reputed to be some of the finest in France, and the sheltered location encourages almost tropical vegetation, including mimosa and palm trees. The hotel has a friendly owner, charming bedrooms, free Wi-Fi and a garden terrace, plus plenty of things to see and do nearby - we recommend a visit to Maison Gosselin, a veritable Aladdins cave of goodies found in Rue de Verrue. Limited parking approx. 4 euros/night or free street parking.
