Description of Hotel le Fer à Cheval, Trouville
Trouville is the friendlier, slightly less fashion-conscious neighbour of Deauville, where it's possible to wear last year's swimsuit without attracting raised eyebrows. Well located just 100m from the beach and casino and where the streets are quiet in the evenings, this family-run hotel is welcoming and comfortable, with a spacious lounge and breakfast room. It does not have its own restaurant but there are plenty of good ones nearby to choose from.

A superb family run hotel where the owners are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is situated right in the heart of Trouville and perfectly located for walks along the beach, eating out at some fabulous restaurants, shopping or visiting other Normandy sites. The rooms are excellent and have recently been refurbished. Our mornings were long and lazy as we slept really well and enjoyed a wonderful leisurely breakfast each day before exploring the town further. Book it!
