Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

Elegantly furnished detached gite in beautiful riverside setting with fishing available on site. Lovely surroundings, part of a large estate which is well maintained by the owners who live next door and are keen gardeners. Tasteful interior with some antique furniture. Open plan living room with inset fireplace, tv and hifi; well equipped fitted kitchen area along one wall with fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and breakfast table/2 chairs. Living room opens into spacious conservatory with 2nd sitting/dining area (comfortable cane furniture) overlooking terrace and river. Utility room (washing machine). Wc. Stairs to pleasant single bedroom on mezzanine (with French windows to balcony overlooking river) and first floor with shower room, wc and 2 double bedrooms (1 with 2 armchairs, 1 with small tv). Travel cot, high chair, stairgate, pushchair etc. Electric heaters. Lovely garden (one part is enclosed) with paved terrace, garden furniture and built-in bbq beside river. Utility charge: metered.

Salmon fishing in the river Airou (take own equipment) - permits can be bought in Gavray for around 15 euros per day or 30 euros per fortnight. There are marked footpaths 500m away and it's only 15k to the beach and the lovely walled town of Granville.
