Customer Reviews

An excellent location for visiting both coast and other places of interest! We were very impressed with the gite, so well equipped and beautifully kept. Thank you! Ann, John Howard & June Pilkington, September 2011
What a wonderful equipped gite in a lovely quiet setting where we enjoyed monopoly and had a go and fun with the bikes! Lovely sunsets and beaches , St Malo Grand Aquarium and Dinand. We would love to return, but for now merci et au revoir! Yvonne, Michael, Emily & Lucy Murphy, August 2011
We have had a lovely time. Thank you for all you have done as well as for the welcome gift Delia, Richard, Andrew & William Sutcliffe, August 2011
Superbly equipped, quality furniture, friendly host, value for money. The Newmans, August 2011
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in such a well equipped gite, great location and peaceful area. We went to St Malo, Mt St Michel, Bayeux (the tapestry is a must to see), landing beaches in Arromanches, Paris, Granville, Villedieu les Poêles and Vire. It was lovely to come back, thank you for a great place to stay. Helen, Laurence, Peter & Maureen, June 2011
Well equipped gite with plenty of games to entertain. We visited Zoo de Champrépus, Bayeux, Arromanches and Granville as well as the local forest St Sever Calvados. We can recommend the Pizzeria at Villedieu les Poêles. Dave, Sheridan, Rachel Gidney & Marcus Brookfield, June 2011
This gite is wonderfully well equipped and, should we come back, we now know that we need to bring nothing. The welcome from Chris & Sharon is very warm and was much appreciated. Normandy held painful memories for Gran but being here for 2 weeks now has laid all the ghosts hopefully for good. Avranches bell foundry and Les Carolles were all good places to visit and as already said, Sword beach to Gran is now a beautiful place where children play. Thank you for providing a splendid place to stay! Linda & Gran Parry, September 2010
Superb holiday and best equipped gite we have ever stayed in; so much for Isabel (2) to play with. The area is beautiful, plenty to see and do. We have enjoyed beaches, villages, cities, zoos and the garden at La Fromental. We can recommend the beaches at Les Carolles and Genêts (south of Jullouville) & the Enchanted Village at Bellefontaine for children aged 3 to 4 & onwards. The zoo at Champrépus is a must for all ages, good for our 2 yr old as there is a separate play area with bouncy castle for smaller children. David & Elizabeth Foster and Stephen, Rachael & Isabel Boult, August 2010
Lovely holiday and lovely gite! We did D Day beaches en route from Caen and spent sunny days on the beach at Les Carolles; great rock pools at low tide. Other beaches seemed a little bland. We spent rainy or cloudy days at the abbey at Hambye and driving through Vire town to Mortain. The Grandes & Petites Cascades along with the White Abbey are worth a visit. Great welcome and a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing holiday! Bernard, Helena, David, Megan & Bethan Jones, August 2010
A really lovely gite, beautifully kept and ideally situated. We will return! The beach at Coudeville (north of Granville) is a must. Just a week is not long enough. For older boys, karting at Mortain is excellent. The Pike family, July 2010
