Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Pleasant detached property in large enclosed grounds, near 3 other gites and cattle farm (300m). Shared hard tennis court on site - bring own rackets. Reception hall close by. Kitchen/dining room (m/wave, d/washer, f/freezer). Sitting room with inset fireplace (free wood) & tv. Twin bedrm with en suite shower room (w/machine, t/dryer). Wc. Steep stairs to 1st floor with wc & 2 dble bedrms. Duvets. Cot < 3yrs. High chair. Heating. Lawn, patio, swing, garden furniture & bbq. Shared children's play area. Utility charge: Nov-March 70 euros/wk, Apr-June & Sept 49 euros/wk, Jul-Aug 21 euros/wk.
Fishing all year without permit in small pond in grounds (500m) with carp, pike, tench.

We all had a lovely time in this peaceful little gite. Overall weather was good but had couple of mornings rain, & then sun came out! Went to Granville (coast); St Lô and market at Vire (Fri morning). Would recommend Vire for a real taste of a proper French market. Town had great atmosphere too. Caught a few fish in pond/lake. Fantastic weather - hasn't been below 20°C for two weeks. High of 34°C! We have visited a few beaches with the best one being Agon-Coutainville. Nice restaurant in Torigni sur Vire - the crêperie near the boating lake, superb savoury and sweet pancakes (try the colonel or crêpe gourmande desserts mmm . .).
