Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

Charming detached former watermill in attractive setting, well placed for exploring Normandy and less than an hour from lovely beaches. On a quiet local road (occasional cars, horses, cows) set in around 2 acres of well maintained grounds with a small unfenced river flowing a few feet from the house. Farmhouse style fitted kitchen/breakfast room with f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer, w/machine. Spacious comfortable lounge/dining room (exposed beams, wooden floor, woodburner, tv with English channels, dvd, hifi, leather sofas). 2 ground floor bedrms - 1 small sgle and a dble. Small shower/wc. Steep open tread stairs to 1st floor with 2nd bath/shower/wc and 3 further bedrms - 1 twin (bunks, children's decor), 1 dble (+ bed for small child) and a room with 2 sgles that may be placed together to make a king size bed. Travel cot, high chair, stairgate. Duvets. Woodburner & electric c/heating (included). Garden furniture, bbq, swing, gazebo. No smoking. Utility charge: included.

Fishing is possible in the river on site (you'll need to buy a permit). St Sever has a Saturday market and lovely walks in its forest and the lake at La Dathée has boating, swimming, fishing as well as a beautiful golf course.
