Description of Accommodation
La Rochelle is one of the top visitor attractions in France and it's not hard to see why. The historic Vieux Port is beautiful with its distinctive towers at the harbour entrance and its huge colourful marina. Close to the port you can wander through the old quarter with its maze of pedestrian streets or sit at one of the many pavement cafés and restaurants.
The Appart'Hôtel Archipel is very well situated in the Port des Minimes area of La Rochelle - take the 'sea bus' from here to the town centre (around 2 euros per person for the 10-15 minute trip) or walk to the Vieux Port, 600m, or the beach, around 1.8k away (2.2k by car). This family-friendly residence has 86 apartments furnished in a modern style with free Wi-Fi and there is an outdoor pool (10m x 5m with a constant depth of 1.50m, open mid May to end Sept), paddling pool and sun terrace with loungers. Free underground or outdoor car park.
Max: 2/4 - Apartment on ground, 1st or 2nd floor. Living room with tv, single sofa bed and single pull-out bed (both 0.80m width). Kitchen area with microwave/grill, 4-ring hob and dishwasher. Double bedroom. Bath/shower room. Wc. Balcony or terrace with garden furniture.
Max: 3/5 - As Max 2/4, except there is an additional single bed in an alcove (no door or window).
Max: 4/6 - As Max 2/4, except there is a fridge/freezer instead of a fridge and there is a 2nd bedroom with either a double bed or bunks.
