Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Detached property in peaceful hamlet with lovely views over fields & woods. Friendly owner lives behind gite. Sitting/dining room with huge stone fireplace, woodburner, exposed beams & tv. Small kitchen (f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer). Shower room (w/machine). Wc. Steep stairs (2 handrails) lead to large landing (sofas, playpen) & 1st flr bedrms - a spacious dble & an attic family room (dble & 2 sgle beds). Cot < 3yrs, high chair, baby bath. Electric heating (max 50 euros/wk). Large garden with patio, furniture, bbq, swings, table tennis & sandpit. Utility charge: included.
This is in the Marais Poitevin also known as the Green Venice due to its lush countryside and tranquil canals - lots of wildlife to be spotted here too. Courçon (8k) holds a Wednesday market and has a lake for swimming.
