Founded in the 10th century and stunningly well preserved, historic La Rochelle is said to be the loveliest seaside town in France. A joy to stroll around, especially as it's traffic free, the town has a lively, arty atmosphere, almost year round. Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.
