Description of Hotel la Marée, Ile de Ré

With its temperate climate, long sandy beaches and unique character and charm, the Ile de Ré is a popular holiday destination all year round although unsurprisingly its visitor numbers increase quite significantly in July and August. Its safe shallow waters and golden sands are very child friendly or, for the more active, cycling is a great way to discover this lovely island with its salt pans, oyster farms and colourful harbours. The lovely Hotel la Marée is opposite the beach in Rivedoux and has a fantastic view of the impressive 3k long bridge that links the island to the mainland (toll payable). With its heated outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi, pleasant bedrooms and seafront terrace restaurant, this is truly an idyllic place to stay. Hotel parking approx. 7 euros/night.

Prices in black are per person based on two sharing. They include B&B and return ferry crossings on selected sailings to France, for a standard car and occupants.

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.
