Description of Hotel Brise de Mer, St Raphaël

Well known for its lovely sandy beaches, even though you have to pay to use them, St Raphaël is one of the richest towns on the Côte d'Azur but is somewhat less brash & commercial than its more popular neighbours. The medieval quarter is full of shops, bars & markets and there are plenty of watersports on offer as well as boat trips along the coast to Cannes and St Tropez from the old port. The modern Brise de Mer is close to the beach & Santa Lucia port, and just a pleasant stroll from the town centre. The simply furnished, air conditioned bedrooms have a balcony or small terrace and the first rate facilities include a heated outdoor pool that can be covered in cooler weather, a sauna, jacuzzi, small gym and free Wi-Fi. Hotel parking approx. 8-14 euros/night or free public parking nearby.
