Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Charming gite on 1st floor of property adjoining owners’ house in lovely, shared enclosed wooded grounds. Superb setting along side the Briéron marshes ideal for walking & cycling. Wooden stairs lead to a bright sitting/dining room with sofa bed, tv & dvd. Kitchen area (f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer, w/machine). Spacious triple bedroom (double & large single bed) with en suite shower/wc & pleasant views over garden. Duvets. Travel cot, high chair, stairgate, baby bath. Electric heaters. Front, shared enclosed courtyard. Vegetable garden, terrace, lawn, furniture & bbq. Optional linen charge is per person. Utility charge: metered.
Guided tours available in a horse drawn carriage (can be seen passing in front of gite) to explore the marshland area. There are also tours in punts and barges to discover the wonderful flora, fauna and wildlife. Kerhinet (4k) has the typical thatched cottages of the area including one that has been re-designed to depict family life in the 19thC (free access). Beautiful sandy beach at La Baule.
