Pleasant semi-detached property in quiet rural area near cattle & cereal farm, a short drive from lovely beaches. Entrance hall/breakfast room. Kitchen (m/wave). Lounge/dining room (tv/dvd/video - no tv reception). 3 bedrms - 1 dble, 1 with children's bunks, 1 sgle (high bed, for older child). Shower/wc (w/machine). Steep, narrow open tread stairs (cord handrail) to mezzanine (dble bed) & small room with dble camp bed (sleeps 1). Cot, high chair, baby bath, stairgate. Barn/games room (storage, table tennis & 6 adults' + 5 children's bikes + helmets). Large garden (trees, shrubs, treehouse, swing, lawn, patio, furniture, loungers, bbq) bordered by marshes. Children to be supervised. Strictly no smoking in house or barn. £100 deposit to owner in advance. Sun arrival only. Utility charge: included. Private Pool: 10m x 5m & 0.9m-1.6m deep with safety cover. Unheated & open May to Sept, weather permitting. Shower.

What a lovely house in a peaceful spot - we have really enjoyed the garden, swimming pool, tree house and view over the marsh. Both girls loved the beaches and aquarium at Talmont. Market at Longeville was a lot of fun. Lovely week and we hope to be back next year. Carter family, August 2012

We have had another truly relaxing holiday – our fourth visit here! We have been to different parts of France in between visits, but nothing compares to this tranquil spot. We were impressed with how lovely the garden looked and how clean the gite and pool were, so a big thank you to Chris & Sylvie. We also loved the new additions - the shower, the hammock, the snooker table and the table football. The weather the last 3 weeks has been glorious. We've had a really relaxing week in this beautiful home. We all love the garden, fantastic wildlife and great swimming pool. Thank you also for use of the bikes, pool table and table tennis. A wonderful 2 weeks and sorry to be heading home so soon. The cottage is wonderfully peaceful and the pool and games room a real hit with the boys (ages 5 & 9). The market in Longville on Mon & Fri is well worth a visit, the food is fresh and well priced. Chris has been really helpful and gave some good ideas for places to visit. We'll be back! Great accommodation in a peaceful location and Chris & Sylvie were very helpful and welcoming. Weather hot & sunny first week so we did not need to travel far as everything we needed is here; second week we visited the Vendée Miniature & Aquarium. Lots of wildlife, birds & butterflies in the garden and a family of Coypu live in the field. The most relaxing holiday we have had in a long time and we will definitely return. Thank you! A second visit to this lovely spot; weather a little mixed still managed plenty of days at Les Conches & the waves were best after the rain. A lovely, well prepared, well organised house in a lovely area and a great pool. We enjoyed the Coypu family feasting on the apples in the garden & the weather was great. Lovely beaches at Les Conches, Le Rocher, Jard sur Mer & good food at all the eateries in Longeville. Lots of great nightlife & concerts most nights in the area!
