Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

Lovely, split-level semi-detached gite adjoining hospitable owners' house in a 30 hectare park that is dedicated to fish farming. Fishing possible (Tuesday to Sunday, no permit required) in river & ponds in public grounds for trout, carp & roach. Equipment hire available on site. Comfortable sitting/dining room with exposed beams/stone walls and a traditional bread oven (can be used to cook meals, also a normal oven in kitchen). Fitted kitchen area (m/wave, d/washer). Stairs up to shower room, wc and 2 bedrms - a family room (dble & bunk beds, river views) and a small bedrm with a dble bed. Cot < 3yrs, high chair, baby bath, changing table. Gas c/heating (130 euros/wk). Large shared grounds. Private enclosed courtyard (garden furniture, bbq). Utility charge: metered. The Pool: 20m away and accessed via shared courtyard. 9m x 4m and 1.3m deep. Fenced, shared with owners and open May to September.

Large covered barn on site where guests and fishing enthusiasts can purchase snacks, drinks and there is often a bbq being held. If you are not interested in fishing the owners are passionate about the Mayenne area and will introduce you to their reception area where there is plenty of information on what to see and do. They will also be more than happy to show you around their farm too!
