Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

Spacious 14thC town house adjoining a crêperie by a church in the centre of the lovely medieval village of Sainte Suzanne. Tastefully decorated interior has been carefully renovated leaving some original features (exposed stone/beams). Lounge on grd floor (tv, dvd). Wc. Spiral stairs to 1st floor with beautiful kitchen/dining room (f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer) and a sitting area with a sofa bed. 2nd set of spiral stairs lead to a cosy bedrm with king size canopy bed, hanging rail for clothes and an en suite shower room & wc (both separated from bedrm by a curtain). Travel cot, high chair, baby bath. Electric heaters. Small terrace (no garden) in front of gite with 2 chairs. No entry for cars in village in summer except for unloading/loading (20 mins). Public car park 250m. Utility charge: metered.

Sainte Suzanne (now classified as one of the prettiest villages in France) perches atop a rocky promonotory 76m above the Erve valley and river. As this is such a wonderful place to stay we would not blame you for not wanting to venture further though the owners do recommend a visit to the prehistoric caves and museum at Saulges.
