Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

St Gilles Croix de Vie is a charming town which is lively in summer and has a picturesque old quarter, a fishing harbour, markets and several lovely sandy beaches with lots of watersports on offer. It is one of many resorts along this coastline including the larger Les Sables d'Olonne (23k) to the south with its popular zoo, shell museum, good shops & restaurants and family entertainment. Or St Jean de Monts (27k) to the north with its cool pine forests & long seafront promenade perfect for summer evening strolls. Much of the countryside in this area is made up of salt marshes which are a haven for all manner of birdlife & best explored in a flat bottomed boat.

This 6 hectare site with 310 partly shaded pitches has good facilities including an outdoor pool with waterslide, mini golf & various sporting activities. The flatness of the Vendée is ideal for cycling and there are bicycles for hire on site for the whole family.

Max: 6 - Chalet style mobile homes have living room with table/chairs, padded seating, kitchen corner (microwave, fridge/freezer & hob), double & 2 twin bedrooms, shower, wc. French windows lead to a wooden terrace with garden furniture. Bbq permitted but not provided. Baby kit hire charges are for all items but these may be hired individually.

Extra Services

SPORTS - Volleyball, basketball, 5 a side football pitch, tennis (8 euros per hour). Horse riding 2k. Golf 6k.

FOR CHILDREN - Free activities (5 to 8yrs) in Jul/Aug - treasure hunts etc. Games room (billiards, table tennis). Play area.

OTHER ACTIVITIES - Evening entertainment in Jul/Aug - karaoke, bingo, music shows.

FACILITIES - Take away food, mini golf, bike hire. Wi-Fi at reception (charge payable).

SWIMMING - Outdoor pool (15/5 to 15/9) with waterslide, paddling pool & jacuzzi.

Bed linen hire - 12 euros per single bed, 14 euros per double bed.

Baby facilities - Baby kit hire (cot, high chair & baby bath) 4.5 euros a day.
