Description of Accommodation
Close to St Jean de Monts, this lovely modern complex of privately owned villas is in one of the most popular areas of the Vendée coast. All the attractions of the resort are nearby, with the long sandy beach just 2.5k away with children's activities and beach clubs in summer. Inland visit the excellent Puy du Fou theme park or the Marais Poitevin.
The Domaine de Vertmarines has 96 villas in a peaceful enclosed setting on the edge of a pine forest (direct access from the residence). Services here include free Wi-Fi at reception, satellite tv/dvd hire & (in Jul/Aug) fresh bread delivery. Reception can also arrange bike hire. Each villa has a private pool, 8m x 4.5m & 1.2m-1.7m deep, which may be heated if required (request in advance) and is either fenced, alarmed or has safety cover. Layouts vary but generally all villas have at least one double bedroom (sometimes this is a king size bed) and the other bedrooms may be twins which will occasionally be bunk beds. All have garden with furniture & bbq. Pets accepted (around 25 euros per week).
Max: 4 - Single storey villa. Spacious beamed living room with kitchen area (fridge/freezer,oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine) and French windows to pool area. Bath/shower room. Wc. 2 bedrooms, each sleeping 2.
Max: 6 - As Max 4, except some villas are 2 storey, there is an extra bedroom sleeping 2 plus an en suite shower & sometimes a 2nd wc.
Max: 8 - As Max 4, except villas are 2 storey with 2 bedrooms sleeping 2 plus shower/wc on first floor.
Extra Services
Bed linen & towel hire - 10 euros per person.
Baby facilities - Cot + high chair 29 euros per week.
End of stay cleaning - Optional, 96, 144 or 192 euros according to villa size.
Heating charges - Water/electricity & pool heating (if required) according to meter readings.
