Description of Parador, Gijón
Once a fishing village, Gijón has grown into Asturias' largest city and an important sea port. The old quarter of Cimadevilla with its cobbled streets is its main attraction as is the popular San Lorenzo beach which attracts locals and tourists alike in the summer. And just minutes from the beach is this ancient mill which stands beside a pond in lovely parkland and has been restored with great flair to create an atmosphere that's as relaxing inside as it is out. Cosy and cheerful, with great picture windows, it offers the best in Asturian hospitality - nowhere more than in its cuisine.

What's included in the price?
Prices in black are per person based on two sharing. They include B&B and return ferry crossings on selected sailings to Spain, for a standard car, 2 people and a 4 berth inside cabin with en suite facilities each way.

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.

Customer Review
The Parador is set in a beautiful park within easy walk of a good beach. It is about a mile from Gijon centre - a very pleasant stroll along the promenade or catch a frequent bus (a Gijon card from the tourist information centre covers all travel). The hotel is very comfortable - slightly old-fashioned in a good sense. Very happy with our choice. Mr & Mrs Penny, October 2012
