Description of Accommodation
The Buga apartments are one of 3 small adjacent clusters (also see ZA0011 on our website) in a quiet part of Posada de Llanes, a large village slightly inland and 8k west of Llanes. Built in traditional Asturian style so that they complement their beautiful surroundings, there are just 12 apartments split between two buildings in spacious well kept grounds, along with a shared pool (10m x 5m & 1.2m-1.8m deep, open June-Sept, subject to weather). A single track railway runs behind (not a main line) but this does not detract in the least from this most appealing setting with incomparable views of the Picos. Seaside and mountain attractions are close at hand and you are spoilt for choice as far as beaches are concerned.
These stylishly furnished and well equipped apartments are either ground floor with a terrace or on two levels with a balcony or glassed gallery and spiral stairs (not suitable for elderly or very young). All have living room (tv & video) sleeping 2, kitchen (hob + oven, f/freezer, m/wave & washer/dryer), and bathroom/wc. Central heating. Free Wi-Fi.

These are beautiful apartments in a lovely location. The furnishings and fittings are excellent, as is the pool. Posada is a really nice village with very good shops and a train into Llanes. Barro beach is close by, with soft sand and lively waves. However, the apartments have very thin walls so you can hear your neighbours conversations! Pool noise and neighbours having dinner on the table outside their apartment was also occasionally a problem during our stay. The Hobsons, August 2012
The apartments are set in a pretty area with a mountain backdrop and are generally peaceful despite the railway line behind which caused no concern at all. The pool and grounds are well maintained. The kitchen and bathrooms are small and sparsely equipped however have most things for a basic stay.... More towels would have been useful. The apartment walls are very thin so hope for quiet neighbours... The 1st floor apartments are built into the eaves so anyone of any height over 5 feet needs to take care!! Pool was lovely and football ground perfect for my boys. With table tennis provided too and superb beaches nearby plus a supermarket 5 mins drive away this was a great site. Only down side was free wifi was intermittent and the bedrooms in our 6 person apartment were only 50% usable owing to the sloping ceiling being so low. The Milburns, August 2012
