The amazing cable car that takes you 900m up sheer rock cliffs is one of the Picos de Europa's most popular attractions - so avoid the lengthy queues by staying at this attractive hotel near the base. The friendly owner offers a warm welcome, most rooms have balconies and superb views of the mountains and Parador opposite, and there is a charming restaurant serving local specialities. The woodland and mountains are perfect for walking and the wildlife is among Europe's finest, including mountain goats, birds of prey and - rarely seen these days - brown bears.

What's included in the price?
Prices in black are per person based on two sharing. They include B&B and return ferry crossings on selected sailings to Spain, for a standard car, 2 people and a 4 berth inside cabin with en suite facilities each way.

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.

A lovely small hotel opposite the Parador at the end of a mountain valley. We have stayed in the Parador before and this was a lovely change. Despite the breakfast being a 'Continental' meal only, we both got used to it and after a few days it was quite acceptable. If we had a future choice it would be this hotel rather than the Parador.
