Description of Accommodation

Barely touched by the passage of time, Mogrovejo is a tiny village in the Liébana valley not far from Potes, and is said to be one of the most attractive of the area. Traditonally built properties of all shapes and sizes, some dating as far back as the 16thC, cluster together in a disorderly fashion against a stunning backdrop of rugged peaked mountains, and overlook the beautiful valley below. Casa Teresa (in centre of picture) is a large, semi detached house adjoining another in the village centre and has a lovely large garden to the rear.

Kitchen/diner (m/wave & mini oven - no full size oven) has fireplace. Sitting room with tv. Shower room/wc with w/machine. 1st floor has 4 sgle bedrms (2 with large beds) & bath/shower/wc. Spacious dble bedrm on 2nd floor (sloping ceiling). C/heating. Enclosed garden with fruit trees, furniture & bbq.

There is a £16 supplement per night for stays between 2 and 5 April.

Customer Reviews

Words can hardly do justice to this casa in the lovely old village of Mogrovejo. The garden is stunning, with mountain and valley views all around. The small village is blessed with two bars/cafes. Quesos y Cosas in particular is very attractive, serving good food, predominantly local products, on a terrace (WiFi too). It also has a shop selling craft gifts and local products, as well as their delicious bread. An easy drive to Pores and to Fuente De, and walking routes all around. Our favourite of all the places we've stayed in the Picos. Mrs Judith Worthington, July 2014
A well appointed property with good facilities and great views over the mountains. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. In the village there are a couple of bar/cafes, one of which sells basic provisions. We ate there a couple of times in our 5 day stay and the food was good. A good place for a relaxing holkiday or a base for a more active one in the mountains. The Blacks, September 2012
We have had a thoroughly great two weeks and will return again. Karen, Rory, Wendy & Hamish, London, August 2011
A beautiful house in a wonderful setting and the local villagers are very friendly. The Butler Family, Doncaster, July 2011
It has been very restful and peaceful here with some enjoyable walks in the mountains. We enjoyed just sitting in the garden with a glass of wine, listening to the birds and looking at the mountains and down the valley. We would certainly come here again! Jane & Nick, Plymouth, May 2011
We have enjoyed a 2 week holiday. Very good accommodation, friendly neighbours and good food. We shall return. Birch, Banbury, July 2010
We went canoeing on the river Deva which is highly recommended, it was very relaxing. The plums in the garden are really nice and you'll hear thumps regularly - its the figs falling off the trees so don't park under them! The Bellwood Family, Sheffield, July 2010
We seem to have the pleasure and privilege of being the first Brittany Ferries' family to stay at Casa Teresa - to all families that come after, let us make a pledge and tell no one about this place - let it be our secret! The fewer people who know how fantastic it is here the better!!!!! The Finch Family, Halifax, July 2010
