Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

Finca El Pico is a newly built, single storey holiday home that is somewhat unusual as it is a long, walk through property where one room leads into the next. Surrounded by green fields and trees, this is a quiet, wonderfully rural location reached by a narrow track from the old Panes-Unquera road and is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The beach at La Franca is just 7k and it is also just a short drive inland to the Picos. Nearby Unquera, on the border with Asturias, is Cantabria's most westerly village and has a good range of bars, restaurants and shops. Although small, Unquera is important and is well known throughout Spain for its Unquera Tie, a sweet pastry made with almonds, and also as the starting point of an important annual canoe race along the river Deva in August.

Well equipped kitchen/diner with f/freezer, m/wave & d/washer leads to twin bedrm with door through to room with bunk beds. Cosy lounge (fireplace, tv & patio doors to garden) leads off from room with bunks and into 2nd twin bedrm. Shower room with tub/wc off from the kitchen/diner. C/heating. Outhouse with w/machine & t/dryer. Enclosed garden has covered terrace, furniture & bbq.

There is a £12 supplement per night for stays between 28 and 31 March.
