Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Pedreña is a small village across the bay from Santander and is no doubt best known for its golf course and as the home of Seve Ballesteros. However, it is also here that you will taste what are reputedly the best clams and razor clams in Cantabria which the locals harvest from the sandbanks at low tide. The small ferry that runs regularly from Somo to Santander is nearby and is ideal for a day out in the city without the hassle of driving or, if you prefer, there are many gorgeous beaches to choose from in the area. Casa Geli is semi detached to the friendly owner's house and is close to the village centre which has a few shops plus bars and restaurants.
Fitted kitchen/diner has f/freezer, m/wave & w/machine. Living room has fireplace with insert and tv/dvd. Wc. 3 first floor bedrms - 1 dble & 2 twins, 1 with small balcony. Bath/shower/wc. C/heating. Enclosed garden with covered terrace, garden furniture & bbq.

The beaches at El Puntal and Somo are worth a visit, but the best is Langre. However, this is accessible only by a steep set of stairs and by clambering over rocks but for us it was worth it. Firstly, the property is lovely as are the owners who are extremely nice and helpful. The ferry to Santander can be caught opposite El Tronky restaurant on the road to Somo - it runs every 30 minutes give or take half an hour!
