Description of Hotel Palacio del Mar, Santander
A comfortable modern hotel in the El Sardinero part of Santander, just 250m from the beach and a 5 minute drive to the city centre. A regular bus service also runs nearby. Both inside and out the design is extremely stylish and air conditioned bedrooms all have their own lounge area. Facilities include the Neptuno restaurant which specialises in seafood dishes, 2 lively bars and free Wi-Fi. The sports centre next door has an indoor pool which guests can use free of charge (closed 2 weeks in August, swimming hats compulsory) plus a gym and sauna (extra charge). Garage parking approx. 14 euros/night. Taxis are available from the terminal and cost 7-11 euros plus a small charge for luggage or, alternatively, you can catch a bus from outside the post office (200m) which costs approximately 1.2 euros per person.

Prices in black are per person based on two sharing. They include B&B and return ferry crossings on selected sailings to Spain, for a standard car, 2 people and a 4 berth inside cabin with en suite facilities each way.

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.
