Description of Hotel Silken Rio Santander, Santander
This very comfortable, professional hotel is in a superb position opposite the Sardinero beach, 3k from the ferry terminal. Its restaurants have an excellent reputation with the locals and you can be sure of a good night's sleep in the air conditioned bedrooms, all with free Wi-Fi. Around the corner you'll find the casino and a selection of bars where the locals gather in the evening, and there is a lovely promenade that leads up to the Magdalena Palace through some beautiful gardens. There is also a regular bus service into the city centre for the less active or shopoholics! Garage parking approx. 15 euros/night. Taxis are available from the terminal and cost 7-11 euros plus a small charge for luggage or, alternatively, you can catch a bus from outside the post office (200m) which costs approximately 1.2 euros per person.

Prices in black are per person based on two sharing. They include B&B and return ferry crossings on selected sailings to Spain, for a standard car, 2 people and a 4 berth inside cabin with en suite facilities each way.

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.
