Description of Hotel Casona El Arral, Liérganes
This 18thC mansion house was a convent up until the late 80s when it was converted into this lovely country hotel which has no official star rating but belongs to the Cantabria Quality Club and has the equivalent of a 3 star grading. It sits within large grounds with the Miera river running through and is just a short stroll from the village centre. There are just 9, individually furnished spacious bedrooms, a chapel left over from convent days which is still used for weddings and christenings, and beautifully maintained grounds in which to sit and relax on the terrace. Liérganes is considered to be one of Cantabria's most beautiful villages and has a famous Romanesque bridge as well as a renowned spa centre. Free public parking 200m.

Prices in black are per person based on two sharing. They include B&B and return ferry crossings on selected sailings to Spain, for a standard car, 2 people and a 4 berth inside cabin with en suite facilities each way.
