Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
This is one of two rustic semi detached holiday homes that have been converted from an old house and barn alongside a quiet road on the edge of Barcenaciones (also see ZS0030 Max 4). Thick stone walls and wooden floors provide a welcome reprieve on a hot day, and the lovely, west-facing covered terrace is the ideal place for evening drinks. The river Saja (high bank) runs behind and the English owners live next door so are always on hand if needed. The village, which in 2012 was awarded 'Cantabrian Village of the Year', has a shop, a couple of bars and a small hotel that serves local specialities - well recommended by previous visitors.
Small kitchen with f/freezer, w/machine & d/washer. Living room with fireplace & tv. 4 first floor bedrms - 1 dble, 1 twin & 2 sgles - and shower/wc. C/heating. Enclosed garden has bbq, furniture & covered terrace for outside dining.
There is a £36 supplement per night for stays between 28 and 31 March.

We would recommend the Saya Besaya National Park with its marked hiking routes - just as beautiful as the Picos but less crowded. Do visi the Interpretation Centre signposted from Cabezón first to get leaflets on the walks. The Lucas Family, Bath, July 2012
