Description of Parador Gil Blas, Santillana del Mar
Close to Santander, this splendid Parador is in the centre of this picture postcard village near to, but not by, the sea despite its name. Beautifully restored, with arches, columns and balconies galore, the bright, welcoming rooms are elegantly furnished in traditional style with hand-forged metal lamps and chandeliers, and reproductions of the nearby cave paintings at Altamira. There is a delightful garden, a cafeteria, and local game and seafood feature on the restaurant menu. Garage parking approx. 15 euros/night.

What's included in the price?
Prices in black are per person based on two sharing. They include B&B and return ferry crossings on selected sailings to Spain, for a standard car, 2 people and a 4 berth inside cabin with en suite facilities each way.

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.
