Description of Hotel San Roman de Escalante, Escalante
Taking its name from the nearby hermitage of San Román, this little gem of a hotel is on the outskirts of Escalante, a small, peaceful village near the Santoña nature reserve and bird lovers' paradise. Originally a 17thC manor house, each beautifully furnished room with every modern convenience plus a balcony or terrace is a well balanced mix of old and modern, whilst across the courtyard in what was once the stables, you will find an excellent restaurant that offers an interesting varied menu. The fabulous gardens, which are the ideal place for a pre-dinner drink, hide contemporary pieces of stone and artwork as well as a partially covered outdoor pool and there are also private wooded grounds where you can stroll if you feel like stretching your legs.

Prices in black are per person based on two sharing. They include B&B and return ferry crossings on selected sailings to Spain, for a standard car, 2 people and a 4 berth inside cabin with en suite facilities each way.

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.
